WHAT

Students pray for the nations ... then branch out to plant simple churches among international student communities on campus.

A student who had never heard the gospel overhears a student church in his dorm lobby discussing Jesus stories. He gives his life to Christ, gets baptized in a local lake, and begins telling his story to others.

Three Chinese students get baptized in a campus fountain, start a simple church together - and start telling other Buddhist students about Jesus.

Students build friendships with Muslim students. As they grow in respect for one another they regularly share meals together and begin discussing Jesus' teachings.

Students pray for the sick and begin experiencing miraculous healings. One student walks into a meeting on crutches ... and walks out carrying them.

Jesus shows up when students are equipped and sent to do the work of ministry!

This is the vision behind Student CPx. When students are sent to do the works of ministry on a college campus, Jesus seems to go with them!

So what is Student CPx...

Student CPx (SCPx) is a two-week, experiential summer training school designed to give you tools and experiences to plant networks of simple churches on your campus. Through simple church planting, you can help bring the presence of Jesus to dorms, fraternities and sororities, apartments, student groups ? any place students do life together.

We believe church can be simple. Starting student churches doesn't require lots of advertising, buildings, or professional staff. On a college campus, when students start praying together, worshiping Jesus, following His words, and reaching the lost, new simple churches are a common (but definitely supernatural) occurrence.

Student CPx will help guide you through experiences with Jesus, His word, and stories through history together with other students to help equip you to go back to your campus as a student church planter.

At Student CPx, experienced overseas church planters and student church mobilizers will teach you & then you'll be immediately sent to practice what you learn in real-life situations.

You'll set up a prayer room with other students.

You will branch out in teams around the campus and the city to preach the gospel, pray for the sick, give prophetic encouragement to non-Christians, and look for persons of peace. You'll debrief your experiences each day with other students, mentors who are there to guide you, and as you process things with God in the Prayer Room.

You'll experience how to lead simple church gatherings.

You will build relationships with overseas church planters and student church mobilizers who will encourage you and offer mentoring throughout the following year.

You will pray and develop a personal action plan for your campus to be implemented the following year.

You will pray together with other students for the fulfillment of the Great Commission in our lifetime.

You will experience Jesus. He is what it is all about!

Then you will return to your campus as part of a growing movement of students planting simple churches to reach campuses and the nations.
